This trip starts with a Local Tour Guide that knows the original History of the gorgeous National Park.<\/p>\n

Nous partons ensuite du port principal du parc national de Los Haitises, nomm\u00e9 Ca\u00f1o Hondo (Deep Creek), \u00e0 bord d'un BATEAU \u00e9quip\u00e9 de gilets de sauvetage. Nous profiterons de la for\u00eat de mangroves rouges jusqu'\u00e0 l'arriv\u00e9e dans la baie de San Lorenzo. Cette petite baie se transforme en baie de Saman\u00e1. Et c'est parti ! La premi\u00e8re chose \u00e9tonnante que vous pouvez voir est la collection d'une \u00e9norme \u00eele de montagne calcaire appel\u00e9e Mogotes. Au sommet, plus de 700 esp\u00e8ces de plantes et de nombreux oiseaux des zones humides qui volent autour. Plus tard, nous visiterons des grottes avec des pictogrammes de nos communaut\u00e9s indig\u00e8nes datant d'il y a 750 ans.<\/p>\n

Through the mangroves and Land at the open San Lorenzo Bay, from where you can photograph the rugged forest landscape. Look to the water to spot Manatees, crustaceans, and dolphins.<\/p>\n

The national park\u2019s name comes from its original inhabitants, the Taino Indians. In their language \u201cHaitises\u201d translates to highlands or Hills, a reference to the coastline\u2019s steep geological formations with Limestones. Aventure deeper into the park to explore caves such as the Cueva de la Arena and Cueva de la L\u00ednea. Caves in the reserve were used as shelter by the Taino Indians and, later, by hiding pirates. Look for drawings by Indians that decorate some of the walls. After visiting Los Haitises National Park we will go back to the port where our trip started.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
